The selection process is crucial as it involves identifying competent, loyal, and confident workers. At Blue Bird Overseas Pvt. Ltd., we employ various techniques to ensure we select the best candidates. For special manpower with specific experience, we leverage our extensive network to locate suitable candidates. We supply manpower only to countries approved for foreign employment by the Government of Nepal. The process is as follows:
Company Database Search and Advertisement
We begin by searching our applications database from previous campaigns for the relevant job category. Additionally, we draft advertisements in national daily newspapers to attract more applicants, ensuring we find the best candidates. Our marketing team is informed about the demand, and they run ads, onboard, sort, and arrange candidates accordingly.
Interview
At Blue Bird Overseas Pvt. Ltd., we facilitate direct and online (zoom, google meet etc.) interviews in Nepal, handling everything from venue setup to inviting shortlisted candidates. For employers who are planning to visit Nepal for the interview; our modern, air-conditioned facilities are fully equipped with computers, telephones, and internet to support the interview process. For employers who delegate the entire selection process to us, our expert consultants conduct the interviews and manage all logistics for dispatching candidates to their job destinations.
Test for Skilled & Eligible Workers
Before finalizing appointments, our selection committee—comprising representatives from various company departments—rigorously assesses candidates. We conduct skill tests specific to each discipline, ensuring only those who meet our high standards are recommended for overseas employment.
Medical Check-up
After the final selection, candidates undergo several steps to ensure they meet the employer’s requirements. A key part of this is a mandatory medical check-up. We direct shortlisted candidates to Nepal government-approved hospitals or labs for thorough medical examinations. Only those who pass the medical tests are confirmed for the visa process and can proceed to sign their agreement or contract. Unfortunately, candidates who do not meet the medical standards are disqualified.
Visa Endorsement
The visa endorsement process varies by country. We dispatch all relevant documents to the recruiting company, which decides on its employees first. After the employing company confirms and sends the visa confirmation, we apply to the related embassy or consular office for visa endorsement of the selected or hired candidates where necessary.
Travel Arrangement
Travel arrangement is the final procedure. After signing the contract with the employee, we make all necessary travel arrangements. This includes handing over all documents (passport, air ticket, and government approval letter) to the employee before departure. We also train them on all traveling procedures until they reach their destinations.
